Many hours are spent sitting every day. Whether in a car or a truck; in buses, trains or narrow airplane seats; in the office or in a health care chair. This causes body moisture which often greatly affects seating comfort: The fabric feels damp, clammy and uncomfortable.

Now there is a fabric for unlimited seating comfort: CLIMATEX^® upholstery fabrics for climate control seating.

CLIMATEX^® is a mixture of three fibres, this patented combination provides seating comfort over extended hours, even under high in- or outdoor temperatures.

What is special about CLIMATEX^®?
The solution originates from nature. Ramie was in use 4000 years ago in Egypt. Ramie grows in tropical and subtropical areas. Its long fibres inherit extraordinary hygroscopic features. Therefore it can absorb moisture and in addition guarantees a fast humidity transport.

Ramie, together with high quality, pure wool and polyester is processed into CLIMATEX^®. The best features of three raw materials result in excellent seating comfort.

• pure wool: with excellent heat conservation and great moisture absorption

• Ramie: with a cooling effect and great moisture transport, acting as a middleman between pure wool and polyester

As the climate control features originate from their raw materials, chemical treatment or backing are obsolete. Therefore CLIMATEX^® can be produced in various fabric techniques. Modern designs and latest ecology needs can be fulfilled.
